About the Author

David Voelker (Ph.D. in Communication Research, Stanford University) is a respected educator, speaker and research consultant in Silicon Valley. He conducted some of the first research on interrelationships between popular music preferences in the seventies, anticipating the Internet's music recommendation services.

Peter Orton is Program Director of Global Curriculum Technology for IBM, designing leadership development Web sites, videos, and online simulators for IBM'ers globally. Orton lives in North Carolina with his wife and daughter.

Scott Adams is earning his Ph.D. in physics at Vanderbilt University. His main interest is in molecular biophysics, especially electrophysiology.
