Being a godparent is an honor, a blessing, and a lifelong commitment. As a godparent, you are a symbol of the Church, a witness to the faith, and a key partner in passing on values and virtues to the next generation. Using practical solutions and simple activities, this booklet outlines the responsibilities of the role and guides godparents on the journey, from the ceremony through the godchild's early life. As part of the Liguori Sacramental Preparation Series, this practical formation tool is ideal for first-time or distant godparents.
