About the Author

WILLIAM S. COHEN served as Secretary of Defense under President Bill Clinton from 1997-2001, making him the twentieth U.S. defense minister. Cohen was a member of the U.S. Senate and Congress for twenty-four years. He has written for The Washington Post, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal, and is the author of the New York Times bestselling Dragon Fire. Cohen lives with his wife, playwright Janet Langhart Cohen, in the Washington, D. C., area.
