Every Sabbath, in synagogues around the world, Jews gather to hear the weekly Torah portion read aloud. But is the Bible relevant today? Does it speak to us? In Table Talk, Rabbi Weisblum shows us that it is and that it does. Table Talk is a simple "road map" for anyone who wants to quickly grasp the meaning and message of the weekly Torah portion. Rabbi Weisblum's easy-to-use format makes the Bible approachable and meaningful to all. Through a series of thought-provoking questions and answers built around each Torah portion, the author explores Jewish history, law, psychology, and morality. Designed to stimulate discussion about the real meaning of the Torah, Table Talk will guide family and friends through the stories and lessons of the Bible. Table Talk is ideal for those with a strong biblical background as well as those who are looking for a place to begin.
