About the Author

Kenneth G. Rainis is a microbiologist, illustrator, and microscopist, as well as a cofounder of Neo/Sci Corporation, a science education company in New York. He has a B.S. in biology and an M.S. in protozoology. He is the author of numerous science project books, and is a contributor for biology textbooks. He lives in New York with his wife and two children.
