About the Author

Thomas B. Sturtevant is an Assistant Professor and the Coordinator of the Fire Science Technology program at Chattanooga State Technical Community College in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He has his Masters in Public Administration at the University of Tennessee. He is a member of NFPA-National Fire Protection Associaiton. He is also an immediate Past President of the Tennessee Valley Chapter, NFPA Industrial Fire Protection Section. Pro-Board Certified as Fire Officeer I and Instructor II.
