The proper, proactive response to the tragedy that befell the United States on September 11, 2001 is to take all possible measures to be sure that this doesn't again occur.
The Terrorism Preparedness Library from Emergency Services publisher Delmar Thomson Learning addresses this need head-on. Included are three already well-received titles:
- Preparing for Terrorism by George Buck,
- Hazardous Materials, Air Monitoring and Detection Devices by Chris Hawley,
- Terrorism Handbook for Operational Responders by Armando Bevelacqua and Richard Stilp,
- and the library is completed with George Buck's brand-new book, Preparing for Biological Terrorism.
Every community should ready itself in case of future terrorist attacks. Buck, Bevelacqua, Stilp, and Hawley are experts in this area, and they share their extensive knowledge in the Terrorism Preparedness Library. Each book provides guidelines for specific aspects of the current terrorism threat - planning for, detecting, responding to, and decision-making in the midst of a terrorism incident.
