Dr. Subramaniam Ganesan, is a Professor in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Oakland University, Rochester, MI, USA. He has over 25 years of teaching and research experience in digital and automotive systems. He was the chair of the CSE department from 1991 to 98. He has published over 50 journal papers, 150 papers in conference proceedings, and 3 books. He has guided many PhD thesis as major advisor. He is a member of SAE, a senior member of IEEE, IEEE Computer Society Distinguished Visiting Speaker, and council member of ISPE. He is the organizer for system engineering session at SAE World Congress for the past 15 years. He is the editor in chief of International Journal of Embedded system and Computer Engineering. His research interests are in real time system, validation and verification and modeling of computer systems for signal processing applications.
