About the Author:

Heather Levigne came to Crabtree Publishing in order to combine two of her favorite activities-learning and writing. Since joining Crabtree two years ago, Heather has co-authored several books in the Science of Living Things series, including What is a Bat?, What is a Whale?, What is a Primate?, and What is a Marsupial?. Heather received an honors B.A. in English at Laurentian University, and supplemented her degree with courses in desktop publishing. This year, Heather will be expanding her horizons and traveling through Portugal, Spain, and France.
