Worboys began her writing career before her fourth birthday.
This pleasant British romance, vaguely reminiscent of Sabrina, tells the tale of Jonathan, the earl of Bevington, and Cassandra, whose family has always worked on the estate. Despite their class differences, they were childhood sweethearts until his parents had her sent away to America when the family's finances necessitated a marriage more for money than love. When Cassandra, now a confident young businesswoman, returns to tend to her ill father, Jonathan tells her that he is considering selling the family's ancestral home. She has a better idea: a plan to open the home and grounds to the public as a museum, garden, and craft center. As they work closely on this project, learning family history and working out creative ideas to make their business plan succeed, they fall in love all over again, and it is up to Jonathan to end his prior engagement and convince his parents of the merit of his marriage to the gardener's granddaughter.
