About the Author

Katie Barbee is a graduate of St. Louis Christian College. She and her husband, Gary, have worked with kids from ages 2-18 during the past 19 years. They currently minister at Red Brush Christian Church in Louisville, Illinois. Gary is a youth minister, and Katie volunteers with Kid Zone ministry, a children's church for 1st-5th graders. Katie has field-tested many of the prayer ideas in Helping Kids Pray: 52 Creative Ways to Help Kids Talk to God. Katie has also written for a Christian preteen magazine and loves to teach kids about Jesus!
