The long-awaited sequel to the award-winning publishing sensation that made Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross into stars! News photographer Phil Sheldon's back, with the man-on-the-street's perspective on the big events of the Marvel Universe, from the Avengers, the all-new X-Men and the Secret Wars to Dracula and the Werewolf By Night. But this time, Phil's world is going to be rocked not just by superheroes and super-villains -- but by something far more personal, as well. Featuring the Marvel debut of artist Jay Anacleto, whose gorgeous, photorealistic pencil renderings give a new look at the Marvel Universe, and what it would be like to actually be there.

Kurt Busiek has been writing comicsprofessionally since three days before he graduated from college in 1982, when he sold a "Tales of the Green Lantern Corps" backup story thatappeared in Green Lantern #162. Since then, he's worked on just about everything from Action Comics to Zot!, including runs on Avengers, Superman, Conan and others, and has co-created Thunderbolts, The Autumnlands, Arrowsmith and more. He's best known for his work on the multiple-award-winning Marvels and Astro City.
Roger Stern has written for radio, television, the stage, and the Internet, creatingscripts for everything from sketch comedy to flash-animation. For tenyears, he was the senior writer of the SUPERMAN series, and has writtenhundreds of stories about such diverse characters as Green Lantern,Supergirl, Starman, and the Justice League for DC Comics; andSpider-Man, Captain America, the Incredible Hulk, and the Avengers forMarvel. His first prose novel, The Death and Life of Superman, was a New York Times bestseller.
"Although steeped as ever in the cozy minutiae of mainstream Marvel continuity, Busiek and Stern have performed a canny magician's trick in generalizing moments of comic-book detail until new readers can absorb and accept the events as parts of a greater narrative. Whilst for slavish fanboys like me, offhand remarks and references have all the added weight of a shared if distanced history, like the Kennedy Shooting, Live Aid, the fall of the Berlin Wall, Who Shot JR and so much more..." -- Win Wiacek, comicsreview.co.uk
"If you liked Marvels, then Marvels Eye of the Camera is a must-read series for you." -- kayscomics.blogspot.com
"This is no typical comic where it's finished before you know you have read anything. Marvels: Eye of the Camera takes a little longer to read, while making the reader think some about what's happening in the plot, and for this reason it's why the comic is so good." -- Lee Roberts, shakefire.com
"Amazing story, stunning graphics. Ten years of Marvel history in one graphic novel! Absolutely a must have! The Marvel super-heroes seen by the eye of an reporter, reading his hopes and fears, was awesome. I've absolutely enjoyed it. Absolutely recommended." -- Mirco Parisi, goodreads.com
"Hopefully people who loved the original Marvels will read [Marvels: Eye of the Camera], too. It might not have had the publicity and buzz that the first one did, but it's an excellent and thoughtful addition to the canon. Job well done, all involved." -- Greg McElhatton
"I have read Marvels many times over the years, and the conclusion of Eye of the Camera literally had me tearing up as I read it. It is a very human story, a fitting companion piece to the original, one which I know I will read again in the future and that I am proud to stand next to Marvels on my bookshelf." -- Kent G. Hare
