About the Author
Celia Eddy has been quilting since the 1970s, and is an enthusiastic researcher of the history of patchwork and quilting in American and British traditions. She is Acting Heritage Officer of The Quilter's Guild of the British Isles and coordinator of The British Quilt Study Group. When she isn't lecturing and writing articles on quilt history and traditions, she runs her own on-line quilting and patchwork magazine, " Quiltstory. " Among her previous books is " Quilting Illusions " also available from Barron's.
