For each, the quotation is first given, followed by its author, the work in which it appeared (when appropriate), and the date. The book includes numerous cross-references, and keyword-in-context and author indexes are provided for further utility.

About the Author
Michael C. Thomsett is the author, coauthor or compiler of many books including topical dictionaries, collections of quotations and history books. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jean Freestone Thomsett lives in Washington state. They are also the authors of Political Quotations (1994). Michael is also the author of The German Opposition to Hitler (1997; softcover 2007).
