About the Author:

Bernard Bunny Brunel's first big break came after a performace at an upscale London jazz club in 1978 where Chick Corea was in the audience. A few weeks after that performance, Corea invited Brunel to join him on a world tour. He went on to record Tap Step and Secret Agent with Corea. He has also performed, recorded, and toured with Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Tony Williams, Nathalie Cole, Al Jarreau, Larry Coryell, and Al Dimeola, to name a few. Besides his work as a performer, Brunel is equally at home in the roles of composer, arranger, producer and designer. As a soundtrack composer Bunny collaborated with Clint Eastwood in creating the main theme (Claudia's theme) for the award-winning film The Unforgiven. He has worked on several television shows, and designed a line of electric bass guitars for Carvin Co and an electric upright bass. He has five solo albums which highlight his compositions and melodic solos. He regularly gives seminars and is also the author of books and instructional videos for Mel Bay Publications, Inc.
