About the Author:
The Argentine pianist and composer was born in 1921 in Santa Fe. His vast output for diverse instrumental combinations includes many works of folklore character, such as his famous "Misa Criolla", and has enriched Argentine musical culture bringing him international fame. "Alfonsina and the Sea", with lyrics by Felix Luna, is from his album "Argentine Women".
