About the Author

Born in 1972 in St. Louis, Missouri, Jon Hansen began playing piano at age seven. He was classically trained by several teachers and has a musical background covering classical, blues, rock, jazz, new age, country, etc. At the age of 16, he began composing music and continues to this day. Self-classified as new-age-classical-jazz , he continues to expand his compositions into music s many different genres and facets. Jon has played informal gigs in Kansas City and St. Louis, but prefers a quiet solo career concentrating on his compositions.
