About the Author

Michael D'Antonio is the author of four previous books, including Tin Cup Dreams. His articles have appeared in the New York Times Magazine, Esquire, Elle, Redbook, Golf Magazine, Golf Journal, and the L.A. Times Magazine. A lifelong golfer, he lives in New York State.

Focusing on the year's four major tournaments, D'Antonio begins by recounting Nicklaus' victories at both the Masters and the U.S. Open, setting the table for what may have been the most exciting British Open of all time, won by Trevino, thanks to a miraculous series of chip-ins.
