About the Author

ROSEMARY S. CAFFARELLA is a professor in the Division of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Northern Colorado. She is coauthor (with S. Merriam) of Learning in Adulthood (Jossey-Bass, 1991) and serves as a consulting editor for Adult Education Quarterly and Adult Learning.
