KIM KLEIN is widely regarded as one of the most important figures in the field of grassroots fundraising, both as a writer and a practitioner. In great demand as a speaker and presenter, she has provided training and consultation in all 50 states and 16 countries. Klein specializes in training nonprofit organizations working for social justice with budgets of less than $1,000,000 in successful fundraising techniques. Klein is the co-publisher of the Grassroots Fundraising Journal and the author of Fundraising for the Long Haul and Ask and You Shall Receive. Klein was named the 1998 "Outstanding Fundraising Executive of the Year" by the Golden Gate Chapter of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives. She now lives in Berkeley, California.
STEPHANIE ROTH brings 20 years of activism to her fundraising and consulting practice. She is the co-publisher for the Grassroots Fundraising Journal. Her insights on fundraising and building better boards have been published in a number of periodicals.
"When I want to know the answer to a fundraising question, or a way to motivate and teach others, I go to some of the best fundraisers in the business - whose writing appears in this amazing collection of articles from the Grassroots Fundraising Journal."(Joan Garner, Southern Partners Fund)
"This comprehensive collection has enough inspiration, know-how, and totally practical information to give any organization all the tools they need to raise all the money they need. I also appreciate the social justice perspective that informs both their theory and practice." (Abdi Soltani, Californians for Justice)
