Synopsis

About the Author
Mel Byars has taught at the Pratt Institute and the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York. He is the author of numerous books on design, notably The Design Encyclopedia and the Pro-Design series of books including 50 Chairs, 50 Tables, 50 Products. He has contributed to Graphis, I.D., Interiors, Metropolitan Home, and Echoes and is the editorial director of the Web site www.designzine.com
