Bittleston has been a yoga teacher since 1978. Her little book is packed with sound information and is a perfect introduction to yoga. Although the book concentrates on Iyengar, many other styles are mentioned. After a chapter on the evolution of yoga, there are detailed instructions on many postures, all clearly illustrated and divided into useful categories according to type and level of difficulty.
