Frequent presenter at local and international object-oriented users' groups, presenting on topics such as “Using COM in the Implementation of Business Objects and Data Objects.” Bob is currently the Lead Software Architect with ONTOS, Inc. where he is designing the base architecture for version 3 of ONTOS Integrator using COM and MTS. Gabriel Oancea has over 14 years of progressive experience in object-oriented analysis and design, systems architecture, developing client-server and multi-layered systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Columbia State University and an MS in Engineering from University of Bucharest. Currently he presides as the Principle Software Architect with ONTOS, Inc where he is designing the core products' infrastructure and develop the server side application using Visual C++ 6.0, Visual Basic 6.0, COM, ATL, ADO, OLEDB, SQLServer, and Oracle 7.3
