Dainard ( How To Market Yourself , Union Square Pr., 1990) is a former director of marketing for CBS and currently a teacher. He describes how, in his early forties, he decided to break away from the grind of the corporate rat race and pursue those things that most interested him--writing and teaching. Recognizing that many people feel trapped in their jobs, he has written this interesting, informative, and practical book to assist them in making the transition from dreaming of change to achieving it. While not providing anything particularly original, Dainard nevertheless assumes a readable style that should ensure circulation of this book. Recommended for larger public libraries.
