About the Author:

Jordan E. Goodman was on the editorial staff of Money magazine for 18 years. He is the editor of Everyone's Money Newsletter and publisher of the Money Answers Catalog. Mr. Goodman has spoken on a wide variety of personal finance topics to mutual fund shareholders, bank depositors, students, corporate executives, and other audiences. He is a frequent guest on national television shows such as Today and Nightline, as well as Cable News Network and MSNBC. He also appears regularly on many national and local call-in radio shows, answering listeners' questions about financial matters. Mr. Goodman is a weekly financial analyst on the Business News Networks' Business Day program, as well as on KMOX in St. Louis and KFNN in Phoenix. For eight years, he did a daily commentary on business news on the Mutual Broadcasting System's America in the Morning show. Mr. Goodman is the co-author of the Dictionary of Finance and Investment Terms, Barron's Finance and Investment Handbook, and Barron's Dictionary of Business Terms.
