About the Author

Dominique De Vito has been involved in pet publishing for more than 10 years and has helped create many award-winning books. A member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and the Dog Writers Association of America (DWAA), she is a freelance editor and writer and author of Training Your Dog and Beagles (Animal Planet Pet Care Library). She lives with her husband, two dogs, and twin boys in New York State.

Heather Russell-Revesz is the senior editor at TFH Publications. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and is the author of three quiz books and four quote books. Heather holds an M.A. from the College of New Jersey and a B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles in English Literature. She resides in New Jersey.

Stephanie Fornino is an editor of dog books at TFH Publications where she also serves as the editorial copy coordinator. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). Stephanie holds a B.A. in English from Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia, PA. She resides in New Jersey.

Beautiful photographs portray each breed, accompanied by origin and history, recognized by the seven foremost breed clubs and registries. Also useful are the appendices, including glossaries of canine terminology, disorders and diseases, as well as an extensive bibliography and index.
