Elisabeth Schüssler Fiorenza is the Krister Stendahl Professor of Scripture and Interpretation at Harvard Divinity School and past President of the Society of Biblical Literature. Among her many pioneering and influential works are In Memory of Her (1984), Revelation: Vision of a Just World (Fortress Press, 1991; 2d ed. 1998), Jesus: Miriam's Child, Sophia's Prophet (1995), and Rhetoric and Ethic: The Politics of Biblical Studies (Fortress Press, 1999).
