About the Author
Mark W. Muesse is the W. J. Millard Professor of Religious Studies at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. He earned his PhD at Harvard in the Study of Religion, working with Gordon D. Kaufman, Richard R. Niebuhr, Wilfrid Cantwell Smith, and Diana Eck. He was honored in 2008 for outstanding teaching at Rhodes College. He currently directs the Asian Studies program at Rhodes, and has produced four...
