Reviews

When 17-year-old Annie Kennedy loses her parents, she loses her faith in God. Now living with her aunt, Annie’s goal is to lead the life her sister, Maggie, did, including meeting the same people and going to the same places Maggie wrote about in her letters home. What Annie doesn’t count on is falling in love with her sister’s former boyfriend. This is another emotion-filled Depression-era novel by Lessman (A Hope Undaunted, 2010; A Heart Revealed, 2011). Readers who like heartwarming novels, such as those written by Debbie Macomber, are sure to enjoy this book. --Shelley Mosley
