Donald L. Brake (PhD, Dallas Theological Seminary) is vice president and dean emeritus of Multnomah Biblical Seminary in Portland, Oregon. An avid collector of rare Bibles and manuscripts for more than 30 years, he amassed one of the most complete private collections of rare English Bibles and Greek New Testaments in America, which are now in the Dunham Bible Museum at the Houston Baptist University. He is a former pastor and the author of A Visual History of the English Bible. Brake lives in Washington.
Shelly Beach is the award-winning author of five books. She was on the writing team for The NIV Stewardship Study Bible and was a contributor to Holy Bible: Mosaic. She is a cofounder of the Cedar Falls Christian Writer's Workshop in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and the Breathe Christian Writer's Workshop in Grand Haven, Michigan. Shelly and her husband, Dan, live in Michigan.
