Ernie Zarra, Ph.D., lives in California, holds five earned degrees, and is a life-long educator. He is married to Suzi, and they have two adult children. Ernie has authored four books, and is working on books five and six, to be released the summer of 2017. Dr. Zarra has nearly two dozen journal articles on issues related to education, with his most recent article titled: "Addressing Appropriate and Inappropriate Teacher-Student Relationships: A Secondary Education Professional Development Model" (Summer/Fall 2016) journals.sfu.ca/cvj/index.php/cvj/article/view/26/29. Dr. Zarra teaches high school seniors and his classes consist of United States Government and Politics, and Economics. He has served for over 17 years at a state and nationally-distinguished secondary school. Dr. Zarra also finds time to present at education conferences and is a former adjunct university professor of education. He is also former professional development leader in California's largest high school district. Ernie is a graduate of California State University, Bakersfield, where he was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Student Award, and a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he earned his Ph.D. Dr. Zarra's hobbies include working out at the gym, cooking, climbing mountains, coaching and athletics--especially soccer! Ernie is a former First-Team All-American Christian College Soccer Player.
