Evangelism is at the core of Christianity. It is a life and death matter both for the salvation of individuals and for the continuing growth of the church. Although the message of the gospel never changes, its means of communication must be continually modified to reflect the thought patterns and worldview of our changing culture.
Reaching Generation Next is the perfect guide on how to effectively proclaim the gospel in today's postmodern culture. Both theological and practical, it provides Christian leaders and laypeople with a basic understanding of the essential aspects of evangelism and with foundational guidelines on how to evangelize.
Veteran evangelist Lewis Drummond helps Christians understand how and why today's generation thinks the way it does and offers, in capsule form, sensible answers and convincing reasons for faith. While providing a basic theology of evangelism and stressing the important role of leadership, the book's primary theme is that every believer must become an evangelist.
Reaching Generation Next is a great resource for evangelism training classes. Each chapter concludes with discussion questions. Also included are sections on spiritual awakening movements, evangelizing the disabled, and surveys for churches and individuals.

How can Christians share the truth of the gospel with people who don't believe absolute truth exists? Reaching Generation Next will help you:
" understand how and why postmoderns think the way they do
" master convincing reasons for faith and sensible answers to skeptical questions
" grasp the basic theology of evangelism and the message of the gospel
" grow in godly living to become a believable witness to God's love and power
"It's hard to say something fresh about evangelism that moves beyond a summary of techniques and trends. But Lewis Drummond draws from the well of Christian wisdom to present a theologically grounded vision of sharing the faith-in the real world of e-mail and dot-coms. An important work."
Timothy George, dean of Beeson Divinity School of Samford University, executive editor of Christianity Today
"In our work of evangelism, we are compelled to contextualize and contemporize our gospel message-providing we do not compromise biblical truth. Few men have mastered this approach to evangelism like Lewis Drummond. His new book is both a demonstration of good methodology and a declaration of great theology."
Stephen F. Olford, founder and chairman, Olford Ministries
"With profound insight and sensitivity, Dr. Drummond lays out the issues of communicating the gospel in today's culture. A masterful study! For those who want to be more effective in contemporary evangelism, this book is essential reading."
Robert E. Coleman, Distinguished Professor of Evangelism and Discipleship,
Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary
"Drummond has given us a biblical perspective on Reaching Generation Next, with emphasis on local church outreach and personal soul-winning. He maintains that any person, any generation, can be reached through the powerful message that Jesus Christ saves sinners. This is a powerful book for lay classes in outreach and evangelism."
Elmer J. Towns, dean, Liberty University School of Religion
"This may be Dr. Drummond's most relevant work ever, as he writes on helping the church of today face the challenge of a postmodern world. I know of no one anywhere who knows more about evangelism than Dr. Drummond, and I commend this book enthusiastically!"
James Merritt, senior pastor, First Baptist Church, Snellville, Georgia
