Synopsis

Great gift for men. This best-selling book defines what makes a man, and has already changed tens of thousands of lives.

"The Five Marks provide value in a lot of different situations. It's great for individual men both young and old. It's great for men's group study. It's great for young women who are ready to date, setting a standard of what to look for in a husband. And great for moms who are raising sons. It's definitely worth the read."

"I really appreciate Brian's perspective in this book. This is clearly a topic that he has developed a life long passion for, and his vision of helping men in our society is stunning."
Drawing from his own experience and the lives of others, Brian Tome calls on men to examine themselves and take steps in the direction of a fully realized manhood that respects women, elevates others, and works purposefully for an end greater than their own satisfaction or pleasure. It's time for men to step into their honorable place in the world and lean into a new reality--one defined by strength, purpose, and honor.

A boy doesn't automatically become a man at age 18. What differentiates a man from a boy is the way he lives. A man has a vision for his life while a boy lives day to day. A man is a team player while a boy wants to be MVP. A man works while a boy plays. A man has the courage to take a minority position while a boy wants the reassurance of the crowd. A man is a protector while a boy is a predator. These are the five marks of a man. It's not enough to just know them. A real man aggressively pursues them on a daily basis.

"For a generation that has not had great role models of what godly men look like, Brian's clarion call to live out the five marks of biblical manhood inspires and challenges men to be all God intended so that future generations have men worth following."--John Burke, New York Times bestselling author of Imagine Heaven and No Perfect People Allowed.

"In this era of great confusion over what it actually means to be a full-fledged man, Brian Tome has written a helpful, timely, and at times hilarious book. I highly recommend it."--Larry Osborne, author and pastor, North Coast Church

This book is laid out for the average guy, even though the average guy doesn't read this many words. Most guys don't read anything unless it is mandated for work.
