While most are perfect for primary-grade children's sense of humor, some are more easily understood than others. Vocabulary is relatively simple and fashioned into short, uncomplicated sentences that will keep youngsters turning the pages. The colorful cartoon illustrations done in pen and ink, colored pencils, and watercolors blend well with the loony riddles.
