PreSchool-K–A child takes a family trip through the country and describes the sights witnessed from the car window. The youngster sees cows carrying out a variety of atypical bovine activities, from standing and waving to playing miniature golf. When the family finally arrives home, the little one, now tucked into bed, thinks about all of the cows seen that day and says good-bye to them. The simple, sometimes-rhyming text has some playful moments, but it is mostly a mishmash of bovines engaged in strange and inexplicable endeavors. While Nash's fun illustrations in a retro color scheme give this title a lift, the tale is still ultimately forgettable.
