This Korean folk craft has played an important role in Korean culture for centuries. The distinct "window pane" appearance of a Bojagi quilt often resembles a modern abstract painting or stained glass window, but can also be made of single-color fabric for an elegant look.

About the Author
Choi Yangsook is a master instructor in Bojagi piecework, Korean embroidery and the culture behind Korean textile arts. Her work has been featured in exhibitions around the world for more than twenty years. In 1995, she created Karamusi Studio, a guide to workshops, literature, materials and exhibitions on Korean quilting and embroidery arts. (karamusi.co.jp)
