About the Author

Bennett Agnew is a self-taught artist living in Portland, Maine, who was born with Down Syndrome. Initially calling his art "colorful spiderwebs", he has evolved to painstakingly colored stained glass patterns. He is a graduate of Yarmouth High School and STRIVE U, an innovative program of PSL Strive that puts students with special needs through a two year post-high school residential program focusing on academics, living independently and healthy living. He has participated in a wide variety of STRIVE programs over the years and considers STRIVE to be an important part of his life. He is an entrepreneur, working on a business plan for a coffee shop to be called JitterBuzz.

Tuttle Studio draws inspiration from the modern and traditional arts of Asia to create designs for its lines of journals, stationery, gift wrapping products and origami paper.
