The first edition of Mathcad for Engineers has been completely updated to reflect the features and functionality of the latest version of Mathcad software, PLUS 6. This edition introduces students to the Mathcad PLUS 6 for Windows 95 interface and teaches them to use Mathcad to solve and graph mathematical problems (using XY charts, polar plots, surface plots, and contour plots). Covers numerical methods, including symbolic calculations, differentiation, and integration. The revision also includes additional new material on graphing and plotting, plus new Try Its!, examples, and end-of-chapter exercises. In addition, a comprehensive Appendix has been added that shows the student in concise steps how to do everything covered in the module.
