Optimization of Electronic Measurements is the 4th publication in this series edited by H. V. Malmstadt and C. G. Enke. The entire series will eventually include a wide variety of materials which will be simultaneously organized in textbook and module form. Each module form will also be available in two versions. The Text with Experiments version contains both text materials and complete instructions on laboratory experiments. The Text with Lab Summaries version, represented by this publication, includes the same text material, but only summaries of the lab experiments for those teachers who prefer to design their own experiments.

This open-ended series provides maximum versatility in that the modules can be used independently or in configurations of three or four, as "packages," each on a different area of instrumentation. The first hardbound text entitled Electronic Measurements for Scientists is composed of the following modules in their Text with Lab Summaries form: 1) Electronic Analog Measurements and Transducers, 2) Control of Electrical Quantities in Instrumentation, 3) Digital and Analog Data Conversions, 4) Optimization of Electronic Measurements.
