Synopsis
Writing With, Through, and Beyond the Text: An Ecology of Language elaborates an understanding of writing, its influences on our interpretations of experience and identity, and its potential for enabling individuals to learn about and connect to the world beyond themselves. Rebecca Luce-Kapler is an associate professor of language and literacy at the Faculty of Education, Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario. She is the author of The Gardens Where She Dreams and co-author of Engaging Minds: Learning and Teaching in a Complex World.
