Synopsis

About the Author

Paul R. Andres began writing "Captain Dare" in 1933 when he was eighteen years of age. He completed it shortly before his death in 1968.

A native of Newtonville, Massachusetts, Mr. Andres completed his bachelor's degree in chemistry at Boston College. He served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II as a pilot. For many years, he resided in Covington, Virginia, where he was employed by Hercules as a chemist. Retiring to Daytona Beach, Florida, Mr. Andres completed "Captain Dare" shortly before his death. He has two sons; Paul, Jr. and David. "Captain Dare" is his only published work.
