About the Author
Dick Wakefield grew up in rural Virginia in the years following the Great Depression and during the anxious years of World War II. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and earned his B.S. degree from Auburn University. He and his wife Linda raised two children while moving many times, as his work electrical engineering for large corporations required. He has also worked as a volunteer with youth groups and especially enjoys working with Christian young people.
