About the Illustrator

Tim Ladwig has illustrated and designed books for children and adults. His Psalm Twenty-Three (African American Family Press) was a finalist for the Gold Medallion Award in children's books. Ladwig lives in Wichita, Kansas.

About the Music

Randy Courts is a theatre composer who lives in New York City. His musicals include The Gift of the Magi, Johnny Pye and the Fool Killer, Jack's Holiday, and Joseph and Mary. His adaption of Wangerin's The Book of the Dun Cow has been optioned for Broadway.
