Escaping the Family Time Trap teaches families how to better manage their time so that they have more time to connect as a family, to eat dinner together, to live in accord with their Christian values. The authors set out, in a practical style, questions families can use to define their values, by asking “what do we really want as a family?” Then help you determine “what’s stopping us from connecting?” and take steps to bring the time management of their lives in line with these values by asking “how can we create connectedness?” Finally, the authors encourage you to move beyond the family to bring these values out into the world.

About the Author
Barbara DeGrote-Sorensen and David Sorensen are a husband and wife team. Barbara is a teacher and David is a Lutheran pastor. They are the parents of three children. Together they have written many books and educational resources, including 'Tis a Gift to Be Simple and Six Weeks to a Simpler Lifestyle (Augsburg).
