A clock with movable hands perched above the pages of this board book allows toddlers the opportunity to mark the passage of time as Benjamin the bear goes through his day. Crisp, colorful uncredited photographs show Benjamin (a stuffed bear) in a number of ordinary domestic situations--rising in the morning, eating, going to school, dining, washing, enjoying story time--each with a clock showing the hour. Children can move the hands on the larger clock to make it match. The text is merry and bright (if forgettable); Benjamin is a master of making eye contact with readers, but the real draw is the bold-faced, old-fashioned clock, to be toyed with by children of the digital age.
