The Art of the Router is much more than a "how to use a router" guide; it is an inspiring and exciting look at some truly creative designs by true artists using this highly versatile tool for the woodworker. Some of the projects described in detail are a circular mahogany mirror, an old-fashioned hourglass, a "Moon Box" chest in maple and black walnut, a puzzle box, a simple walnut stool, and dozens more projects by well-known woodworkers. Some of the loveliest projects are also some of the simplest, while some of the more unusual, like the koa, dogwood, and ebony telephone, will simply inspire the creativity and imagination of the reader with a router.
