Grade 3-6. This collection provides step-by-step instructions for each trick accompanied by occasional line drawings. Even though each entry has a heading entitled "Object of Trick," it is difficult to figure out what the outcome should be without actually completing the steps. The various sections of the book are clearly set off through the use of different colored pages. For example, the red section features disappearing acts; the blue is devoted to card and coin tricks, etc. With so many magic books on the market today, this one is hardly a priority purchase.?Rachel Fox, Port Washington Public Library,
