About the Author

Catherine Stier is the author of the A DOG'S DAY chapter book series, which received a starred review from Kirkus. She is also the author of several picture books, including IF I WERE PRESIDENT, IF I RAN FOR PRESIDENT, IF I WERE A PARK RANGER and WHEN A KID LIKE ME FIGHTS CANCER. Her books have been named a Bank Street College Best Book of the Year, a Teacher's Pick by Scholastic's INSTRUCTOR magazine, an IRA Los Angeles 100 Best Books and a LIBRARY MEDIA CONNECTION Editor's Choice award winner, among other honors.
