About the Author

Christy Mihaly's favorite class in law school was constitutional law. She was a lawyer for twenty years, until she decided writing for kids was more fun. Now she exercises her First Amendment freedoms writing informational books for young readers. Christy lives with her family in rural Vermont, where she writes under the daily supervision of her dog and cat.
