Robert J. Wicks, who received a doctorate in psychology from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, specializes in the treatment and mentoring of professional helpers and "healers," He is the author of over 30 books, including Living a Gentle, Passionate Life, After 50, Living Simply in an Anxious World, and Companions in Hope, (with Thomas E. Rodgerson). He is also the editor of the series, Robert J. Wicks Spirituality Selections. Wicks is on the faculty of Loyola College in Baltimore and lives in Ellicott City, Maryland.
